Each leg starts and ends in a location which is comfortable to travel to. Direct flights from major hubs are also available. Those locations also offer easy lodging in case the boats arrive sooner or later than planned.

The departure will coincide with the Barcelona Boat Show in november 2009. The main event in this leg is the Atlantic crossing and some of the most sought after destinations in the Caribbean, ending with crossing the Panama Channel.
